We have one pitch left for this month's Pitch2Win event taking place on Thursday 26 January
If you have a business idea but need some cash to get it off the ground then Pitch2Win could be for you!
Pitch2Win is a monthly competition for any business type of business idea. You could be looking to start a games development company, a new fashion brand or become a self-employed photographer.
How it works
Simply, we want to hear your business idea rounded up in a 3 minute pitch.
Pitching will take place between 2-4pm on Thursday 26 January where you will have the opportunity to pitch your idea to the judging panel. The winner will receive a £250 cash prize and an invitation to pitch for a larger cash prize at the Pitch2Win Awards in April 2017.
There are 10 pitches available each month which will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Your idea can be in the early stages of development or may be an existing business which needs further support.
Who can apply?
The competition is open to any DMU student or graduate of the last 5 years who has not:
- Received a cash prize from the Business Venture Competition
- Already pitched or won a cash prize in a previous round of Pitch2Win
- Participated in the Enterprise Inc or Crucible programs.
- Entries can come from individuals or teams. The only stipulation is that you must plan to execute the idea in the UK.
Please make sure you can definitely attend your pitch when applying.
