The Start-up Sessions from De Montfort University's Enterprise Team provide you with the basic skills and knowledge to help kick start your business. The 60 minute workshops have recently been added as a recognised activity on the Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR), an excellent way to showcase your employability and any extra work you've done at DMU.
Whether you're thinking of becoming a freelance photographer or launching a brand new fashion brand, the start-up sessions will take you through the main ‘hot topics’ that may be crucial in making a difference to your idea such as how to set up, funding your start-up business and marketing.
To be eligible to add the sessions to your HEAR, you must attend at least 6 out of the 10 sessions in one academic year.
